Food plays a key role in health – and the first place to start when looking to make positive changes and establish good nutrition habits is in the home kitchen.
However, many people find cooking overwhelming or confusing…just one more ‘job’ to do.
Qualified and experienced naturopath, nutritionist and accredited health coach Linda Back is holding this session as part of a five-part webinar series for The Change Project, an initiative of the Toowoomba Regional Council to help promote community health and wellbeing.
Linda is also a passionate home cook that believes that healthy food doesn’t need to be boring, bland or expensive – or time consuming to make! She will show you how a little know-how can go a long way.
During this session, Linda will be covering:
- Nutrition 101, and how to ensure meals are balanced and nourishing
- The basics of cooking safely
- Tips and tricks to simplify mealtimes for busy people
- Handy swaps to boost nutrition
