Perimenopause can be a challenging time in any woman’s life.
Many women experience a roller-coaster of symptoms – such as irregular cycles, hot flushes, sleep difficulties, and a reduced tolerance for stress. Symptoms can start appearing as early as 10 years before periods actually stop.
As a qualified and experienced naturopath, nutritionist and accredited health coach, Linda Back works primarily with women’s health, and understands just how much of an impact perimenopause can have on quality of life.
Linda is conducting this session as an approved provider for the Toowoomba Regional Council Change Project – an initiative designed to provide free and low-cost resources for improving community wellbeing.
During this session, Linda will be talking about:
- Hormones – how they work, and how they change during perimenopause
- The 4 phases of perimenopause
- Common signs & symptoms
- The impact of nutrition, lifestyle, habits and stress
- Practical tips and ideas to support hormonal health
This is a special event to coincide with Women’s Health Week. This session is ideal for women who would like to understand more about perimenopause, and become empowered around their choices and options for managing their health.
